Gacked from all the Sentinel fans on my flist:

What Flower
Are You?

"Mischief is your middle name, but your first is friend. You are quite the prankster that loves to make other people laugh."

I will own to a streak of mischief, but I must say I've never been a prankster, merry or otherwise. Just, not my style. Pretty picture, though!

Fridays are goooood, so good -- last night I read online for a bit, enjoyed a nice glass of wine, mellowed out... and then crashed, completely zonked out on the couch. OMG, I've been *so* *tired* lately, but I think I am finally out of the woods of admissions processing at last. Things should start to open up more in my life now -- I should have more time to play on LJ, yayyy! Just let me sleep for a week to get it all out of my system, then I can surface.

[livejournal.com profile] snailbones, what kind of wine did you have last night? I would be so disappointed if you didn't have any!

Today is Cinco de Mayo, so a margarita or a nice Corona with lime is in order. Viva la fiesta, y'all.

Hey ::high fives you:: another snapdragon! We rule *g*

And yes, there was wine *g* - it was cheap and white and cold and had a screw top so I could get in there quick... oh, and a pretty yellow label.
Cheers, and happy weekend :~)

*High fives back* Hey, I always think the label is the best part of the wine anyway (well, besides the contents of the bottle, of course). White and cheap is good! I had red and cheap -- Riunite Lambrusco with a screw top, in fact. I love it -- so refreshing!

We snapdragons, better watch out -- that streak of mischief will get us into trouble for sure.

Ooooh, and I forgot to drink Mexican beer for Cinco de Mayo, but had... you guessed it, more wine instead! ::Raises glass:: Cheers, dear!

I'll be watching for you like people watch for those swallows to come back to San Juan Capistrano; with eager anticipation. Rest well!

Yeah, like a bad penny, I always turn up.

I remember going to San Juan Capistrano once as a kid, but it wasn't the right time for the swallows. I suspect modern times have done away with their nesting habits... the freeway by SJC has gotten so much busier.

From one snapdragon to another...I raise my glass to yours in honor of Cinco de Mayo. I hope it's OK if I celebrate with an Australian Shiraz?!

(BTW, foxies are my mood icons too...love 'em. :D)

Hi there! Oh, I'm happy to have you celebrate with whatever, um, floats your boat. Shiraz sounds positively yummy! Me, I had Riunite Lambrusco last night and Gewurztraminer tonight, which is all great (if cheap) to drink. But there, I'm a cheap drunk anyway... no highbrows in this corner of LJ, nope. *snicker*

And yet another snapdragon! I think my flist should start a Snapdragon/Wine Aficionados conspiracy of some sort. Funny how like finds like, huh?

I didn't like my flower and didn't think it sounded like me, so I didn't post it. *g*

We had a very cheap nice red wine with dinner tonight, that I actually bought for cooking (but we were desperate), that was blended here in Quebec, although it doesn't say from whence the blended wines came. *g*

It wasn't bad at all. Heh heh!

Whatever works, I say! And aren't the Canadian wines pretty up-and-coming these days? I tend toward fairly cheap wine myself -- good old Riunite is a favorite, screw cap and all.

True desperation is when you dip into the vanilla for the alcohol content! (Or so I've heard...)

Many Canadian wines are very good, especially the Ontario wines we've tried.

This however was "blended" in Canada, so I'm assuming that it's made of cheap wines from France, Spain, Itally or maybe all three! But for cheap red plonk in a screw cap bottle, it really wasn't bad. *g*

Haven't yet had to go the vanilla extract route, since I can get wine cheaper than vanilla at any corner store. *g*

Viva, indeed! And I completely forgot to celebrate. Well, I had some wine in the evening, but forgot about the beer *pouts*. Oh well, my town has a *major* Fiesta in August, so I'll just have to look forward to that. Ole!
