shiredancerDarn it, I went and let my journal get all dusty again.
I'm sort of clawing my way out of my latest bout of intense fanfiction addiction. Funny, seems like most of my flist has sort of moved on to other things, or is busy writing, or only looks into the fic offerings now and then. I'm as mired as ever. Well, maybe worse. This last bout? All-encompassing. I think I've brought escapism to all-new levels. Usually I resort to bad!fic as a method for getting *out* of addictive mode... but this time I went and got addicted to the bad!fic. Hmmmm, wonder what that means *not curious enough to seriously ponder it*. I'm sure I've seriously stunted my intellectual growth. Still, there was a lot worth escaping from lately -- work is at its most hellish phase, and February... well, that's a good month to disappear from just in general.
But here I am, so I must be emerging. *Hopeful*

Date: March 8th, 2006 03:55 am (UTC)I've been lost in Sentinel-land, way way deep -- do you ever go through that? Urgh, it's like nothing else matters except getting to the next story... and the next... and so on. But then, I have a bit of an addictive personality.
Hauling myself up enough to post is a good start! *Hugs* Reckon I'd better get to catching up on some journals...
