No trailer here either

We went to see MIB 2 tonight, and did NOT get the TTT trailer -- I was severely disappointed. I mean, Santa Barbara is not exactly the back of beyond... this is practically the Second Hollywood, and lord knows enough Hollywood types have homes here/visit here so that we should be on the cutting edge of filmdom. Hmmmph. (Did get to see the Nemesis trailer though; haven't heard stunning things about that.) Thoroughly enjoyed MIB, by the way -- I loved the line "Everybody at the post office is an alien." I do appreciate good movies, but here's a deep dark secret: I'm dreadfully easy to please at the movies; a show has to be *really* godawful bad for me to not like it. My best friend is a real film critic, knows all about film editing and such, and is constantly perturbed at my taste. Hee.

I mean, I'm sorry you didn't get the trailer. But it makes me feel a little better about living in hicksville, if you didn't get it either. There is a word for that feeling of joy you get at someone else's misfortune, what is it?? Just teasing. I'm no film critic either, but the combined disappointment and looming WEEKEND CALL really decreased my enjoyment of the flick. I'll need to see it on video so I can see if it is really funny. Nemesis, not the Agatha Christie book? Surely not. I'm so unhip. Have a good day!!
