shiredancerToday is the deadline for graduate applications to our department. As of yesterday the applicant count was 135. I'm expecting at least 20 more to be completed before the end of the day -- that will be a new record. Today's mail stack was about two feet high, mostly thick FedEx envelopes. More will undoubtedly arrive throughout the day.
