I Get the Blues...

shiredancerSo, I wonder if it's possible for the moon and stars to be aligned in some way that causes mild depression? Seems like there's a litte bit of that in everybody's journal today. Me too... just kinda blue and depressed, sort of blah, no energy summoned up for anything. Housework? Nah. Organizing things? Bleh. Cooking? Gah. Reading? Meh. (It makes sort of a poem, if you look at it cock-eyed.) (Cock-eyed... now, that's a funny phrase, if you're thinking in terms of slash.) (Oh, bother.)
When I was younger, I used to shake up my world a bit when I felt this way. I'd move, usually, or at least re-arrange the furniture and everything else. (I used to move at least once every two years, right up until 1990 when we bought the condo we live in now.) Or I'd change jobs, or go on a trip somewhere... either physically or, um, illegally. None of those are options anymore. I suppose I should take up a new hobby... nah. Or a new fandom. Nope, doesn't work for me. Stuck on my hobbits and my sentinel.
*Sigh* Or maybe I'll just heave a big sigh, and carry on. *Smoochies* and *hugs* to everybody who needs 'em.
