Hi! *smooches back* Um, it does seem quieter -- I see a lot of names I know but not a lot of posting. It's like that "new" feeling that LJ originally had, I guess. We'll see how it goes! I think I'll still mainly post at LJ; I'll have to figure out how to post simultaneously (if that's even possible) or crosspost here.

It's coming along - I finished the one book, although it was mostly historical stuff and not too much about daily life as a rider, which is what I need now. I've found some books at the UNC library that look good, but I've got to return a few before I can get more. :-) I've also got The Young Riders on my Netflix list.

I've gotten a bit distracted by some recent projects, but I'm planning to get back to it soon...

Hey there! I'm dithering over dropping LJ entirely, but there's still enough people hanging on at LJ to keep me wandering over there occasionally.

Oh, don't drop it completely! I have no idea how often I'll be over here -- I honestly think it's going to be crazy trying to keep up with two journals. From what I'm seeing, people don't seem to post much here (yet). I guess it's still in its infancy. We'll see!

But I'm glad to catch you on whichever side of the fence I can... or something like that. *smile*
