Monday morning 6 a.m.: my husband and child boarded a bus for her sixth-grade science camp. For five days. And for the first time in at least fourteen years, I've had my house all to myself. I get to do *whatever* I want, nobody to answer to, no demands on my time or attention... this is bliss! Well, except for missing my little family. It's just me, two cats, one bunny, and a couple of fish.

So I've been livin' the high life. You know, parties every night, hot guys over, lots of booze and music, sex drugs rock 'n roll? *snicker* Yeah, as if. I've been having an orgy all right, but it's been... ummm, a junk food orgy. *blissful sigh* All the Easter candy I can hold without getting sick. A huge bag of salted tortilla chips and the worst of the worst of dips: Frito original bean dip and jalapeno cheddar dip. Crackers and port wine cheese. Mmmmmm! And little mushroom turnovers from Trader Joe (I acquired *that* addiction at Molly's house... thanks a lot, [livejournal.com profile] magickalmolly! *smooch*) And I've got my feet up, watching my old Sentinel tapes for only the second time through. Wonder if I can get them to extend that camp another week?

*blink* What did I do?

Did we have those in January? I honestly can't remember...

Sounds like heaven over there, I hope I can get Jon and Zack to go camping for a weekend sometime soon. That would be bliss, too.

Yep! You did serve them in January. And they were *soooo* yummy, so when I saw them at TJs, I had to have them... and of course I *had* to eat the whole box.

But I'm just kiddin' about blaming you, sweetie. All the food you served was fantabyoolous!

Hope your boys go on that camping trip... we all deserve this kind of bliss sometimes.

Hee! They were at *my* house, luv! Not that I care who you credit with them, as liong as we both remember which aisle to get them from, at Trader Joes!

I want to know where Molly got those baked jalapeƱo poppers! yum. Must remember to ask her about those.

Aha! Well, I knew I ate them somewhere. How can anybody live without Trader Joe, I wonder?

And I forgot about the jalapeno poppers... mmmmm. Heh, I found a Weight Watchers recipe for those and made 'em homemade... will have to do that again.

WHeeee! for time alone. Livin' the high life, indeed. I had to be the one off in the wilds, to get that for myself, but it was even better that way, in some ways. No chores to do!!!

Glad you had a chance to refresh yourself this way, dear. *hugs*

Well, I'm proud to say I avoided *all* chores all week! Whooot. But now I have to play catch up and look all virtuous and innocent when they get home. *Snort* like that'll fool 'em. LOL!

*Hugs* back...
