Just checking in for a quick "hi" and "yes, I am alive" and with sincere and sad apologies because I've promised Certain Someones that I *would*, yes truly, I *would* be a better LJ correspondent but I'm Not. Quite. There. Yet. Well, duh. Not to worry, nobody's missed a thing -- I've been depressed and sad and gloomy and generally quite Eeyore-ish lately, well for quite a while really, and have much to think about and ponder and probably deal with and fix in my life.

But when I'm a bit sprightlier, sometime soon, I'll write something of Interest and Import and possibly even with Wisdom and/or Humor.

I *DO* love you all. I'm just really lousy at communicating it.

But February is Eeyore's month. and I'm going to echo Lin, don't feel that you have to be up and cheery and whatnot to post here; we're interested in *you*, whatever the internal weather.

All that said, of all people I understand the need to hermit a bit and nurse the Eeyore-ness. ;-) Take care of yourself.

And THANK YOU too, Trill! I didn't know that this was Eeyore's month... I'll take that as gospel. It's good to know that I'm in touch with my inner Eeyore, eh? Ah well, I have my Tigger days too... and Piglet, and Pooh. I rarely Rabbit. And seldom Kanga. Hee, they make really good verbs!

But for all your hermiting skills, you still manage to write and post and keep up -- how do you do that? I think it's because the act of writing is like breathing for you -- essential to your innermost soul and being. What I really need is telepathic communication. *sigh*
