HobbitCon is Faboolious!

And thanks to daisy_gamgee for that word. But it's so true -- this is wonderful. It never ceases to amaze me how beautifully this group *clicks* when we meet in RL. What a lovely, lovely bunch of lasses! And watching "The Return of the King" last night -- all of us in a row, and by the end of the movie holding hands (except for the occasional grab for a tissue) and *weeping* (some more copiously than others, I might add) was the best movie experience I've ever had. I'd not cried at all at the movie -- a little misty-eyed at times, definitely, but until last night I was convinced I'd become a hard old bird. Last night the tears flowed. I swear it was the connection down that line of hands!

So here we are. My little nutshell descriptions: white_trillium is absolutely delightful, as insightful as we'd all expect but far more bubbly and outgoing than I'd imagined, and a wonderful person to just *talk* with. magickalmolly is every bit as cute as Daisy said she was, and a warm and friendly lady too, with a beautiful home and generous hospitality. And speaking of hospitality, linaelyn and estellongshanks have the warmest, coziest, most Bag End-iest home and their welcome is truly comforting. Not to mention their hobbity mushroom soup! Lin and Estel baked *three* birthday cakes, made to the request of the birthday lasses, and they were the Best. Cakes. Ever. And daisy_gamgee, indigo_moon, and haleth are the wonderful, beautiful, heart-holding, happy-making hobbits I've known for the past almost-year-and-a-half.

Really, my heart is so full of joy right now. I love this, I love these hobbits, and I love being here. *blissful sigh*

And I wore my LiveJournal tee shirt, and it was much approved.

My one regret about this weekend--except for what you were saying, about it ending right as we were getting comfortable and ready to have those long talks, is that it ended before we got our *long* talk in. *whimpers* Then again, that just means we have to get together again, soon!
