Exhaustion much?
December 10th, 2004 04:15 pmOh my god, am I tired. My hands and arms and shoulders and neck are so tired of opening hundreds of envelopes containing application materials. My voice and brain are so tired of reassuring anxious applicants, maintaining a cheery, all-is-well facade, and giving out the same damn information *over* and *over* again.
Just... tired.
I want to go home and have something wonderful to eat and spend time with my family and watch the "Lost" episode we haven't had a chance to see yet. And then I want to read a really good story and have a very, very stiff drink. Then maybe I can face the weekend, with the huge Hannukah party on Sunday (which will entail frying latkes and rolling matzo balls for a good portion of the day).
Let's see, only an hour and ten minutes to go. I can do that.
