LOL! I suspect he'd get a good laugh out of that picture -- he has quite a twinkle in his eye and a great sense of humor. Er, that would be me who smells like patchouli -- but Richard Gere, not so much.

Yes -- one of the benefits for working for a well-known department of religious studies! It was an awesome experience. He seems very kind, and of course wise and smart and all that.

It *was* awesome! I'm not sure I *got* everything that he said, and sometimes the accent was hard to decipher. He did credit mothers with instilling most of our ethics, though -- hee!

Yes, it really was cool. He seems like a very kind and compassionate person, which I guess is what one would expect. Quite a twinkle in his eye, too!
