Power was out much of last night, and it just went out again. They turn it off to protect the power lines from the ash, or something like that. Tra la la... guess I'll be back later.

Staying safe as ordered! We're still in good shape, though the fire has spread and is closer -- but the winds are behaving. Also it is staying to the national forest land and leaving homes etc. alone for now... so it's all good news to date.

We're okay, and we do have power -- it went out again last night, but for a shorter time. The fire has doubled again and the evacuation order is now within a few blocks of us -- but nobody on our side of the main dividing road has yet been ordered out. *Crosses fingers*
