Fully a third of the jury pool was "excused for cause" due to having had a problem, either at present or in the recent past, either personal or in their immediate family, with meth abuse. O.O One. Third. And those with felony convictions had already been weeded out of the jury pool!
You and me, we're pikers in this lawlessness business. But yeah, I hear you. I wanted to serve, too; it was no fun to be summarily dismissed when I had lined up my life so that I could do my civic duty.
