Sailing away!

Well, we leave today for the big bad city of Los Angeles, to get ready for our departure tomorrow on the Alaskan cruise. But first we have to navigate LAX, which makes me nervous -- bleh, the thing about cruises, with all their fancy dinners etc., is you end up packing too much, and have too many bags to keep track of. I normally travel with one carry-on, thank you very much, and part of the fun is figuring out how to get the most out of every piece of clothing and accessory.

Well, we'll manage. I'll be quiet for just over a week. And with any luck, my computer will cooperate this year so that I can actually make a post about the trip!
