A prospective applicant just informed me that I did a "pretty good" job of giving her information. This, after I carefully articulated the differences between our two MA programs, instructed her on how to petition for credit from the extension program, and offered detailed advice on the application process, including the coveted inside tips on producing a worthwhile statement of purpose.

And she said it with a great deal of hesitancy, like she really wasn't all that sure about it.

"Pretty good." Hrmmmph
