Work: block grants (Form 1), fee fellowships (Form 3), TA assignments for 2004-05 all due Friday or very soon after; must implement Doctoral Candidacy fee offset starting next year (note to self: devise application form for that). Work up fee figures with 20% increase; ditto out-of-state tuition costs; recalculate all budgets with final (?) figures. One field exam tomorrow, two next week, three the week after. First draft of award certificates & brochure: done (note to self: notify recipients). Finish last award letters to new admits! Clean up second-year reviews and file (note to self: catch that last kid and get him to commit to an appointment). Finish planning and organizing end-of-year beach party.
Home: piano lesson tonight; send in final (?) summer camp applications and payments. Get calendar updated for kidlet's jr. high call-back audition for singing group (!), niece's graduation right after (can I make it to Northridge in 1 1/2 hours? *fret*), Italian street painting festival Sat./Sun. Gear up for kidlet's 6th-grade graduation, beach day, & celebration. Sign up for afterschool care next year. Work out jazz dance schedule.
Huh. Everything at work is for the big kids; everything at home is for the little kid. But hey, Memorial Day's coming -- whooot!!!
