Meme, too.
April 21st, 2004 01:53 pmOkay, why not? Gacked from the ever-lovely
daisy_gamgee,
white_trillium, and
magickalmolly.
What is your middle name?
Jean.
If you had been born the other sex, did your parents tell you what your name would have been?
Probably Robert Stephen, which they waited for through three girls until they finally got a boy. Also, I was originally going to be Bonnie Jean or Sally Ann, so they compromised. Thanks be... I am *so* not a Bonnie.
Do you have children and if so, what are their names?
One girl: kidlet or kidling or the kid. Okay, Claire Elizabeth. ;-)
If you were ever to have a child or more children, what would you name them?
NO MORE BABIES. NONE. NADA. ZIP! (This is left intact from
white_trillium; it just says it too well.)
Girl's names I love and contemplated but didn't use for obvious reasons:
Jemima
Dinah
They are lovely, old, English names that are completely out of use and made fun of now, thanks to pancake syrup and railroad songs. Read Dickens; they're in there, frequently among the "common" class (my heritage, yay).
Most people know their mother's maiden name, but do you know your grandmother's maiden names?
Geddes on my mother's side; can't remember the other one but it starts with a W... Whitley? Whittle! That's it!
Did you have an imaginary friend as a child?
Nope, never. Too many siblings around. I did play pretend an awful lot though, and had imaginary adventures... but never the classic, really-there imaginary friend.
What was the name of your first pet?
First family pet was Pixie, the tabby cat in Connecticut who had several litters of (sadly) diseased kittens. People just didn't "fix" their pets in those days.
What was the name of the first person you ever kissed?
Robert, the next-door-neighbor in kindergarten-first grade.
What was the name of the school you attended as a child?
Mohegan, Bard, Curren, and Haydock. Navy brat.
What was the name of your English teacher in High School?
Mrs. Bahns, Mr. Davis, Mr. Sanchez, Mrs. Black, and a wonderful student-teacher whose name I can't remember. They were a pretty good bunch, actually.

Date: April 21st, 2004 09:08 pm (UTC)I didn't realise Jemima was in use in Britain, but saying that I remember that it's a biblical name, so duh.
And I could almost see you as a Bonnie. But you're much better as who you are. ;-)
