Unacceptably unconnected.

Our home internet connection has been down since last Tuesday. Almost a whole week! Fie upon Earthlink, fie upon Verizon! And nobody seems to quite know where the exact problem lies. I've been online a few times here at work, but as I've noted, it's terribly busy and even lunch breaks don't always happen -- so for now it's catch as catch can. I'm terribly behind on everything happening on LJ, so if I've neglected a response -- I'm sorry. I'll catch up as soon as I can.

Meanwhile, we went to see The DaVinci Code at the movies this weekend. LOL! I *knew*, in spite of how much I don't like the book, that I would probably like the movie... and I did. Hey, it saves me from reading the rest of the book. As my friends here know, I'm terribly easy-going with movies -- very easy to please. ( I'm cutting here, so as not to spoil it for anyone who plans to see the movie or read the book )

And lunch break is over, so that's all the online time I get today. Pooh.
