(no subject)
April 5th, 2006 11:28 pmEh, I can never think of good subject lines.
So, I hear from
estellongshanks that this is Post Every Day Week, or something. I suppose I've already missed most of it. Bother. Perhaps two today and two tomorrow will make up for it, or if it started on Sunday, then two on Friday also. Or three today and one tomorrow and three on Friday, I suppose. Or two on... oh, never mind.
Anyway, this was a Good Day. I took the day off work because it's Kidlet's spring break and she really needed a girls' day out with mommy, after being left alone for most of the two weeks (except the four days starting last Thursday when I also took time off, Friday being a university holiday, which was a good thing because Kidlet was raging-fever sick the whole time). We had lunch at Ruby's Diner, a place all done up like a 50s diner with red plastic and shiny chrome and Coke ads everywhere, and the best malts ever, and great (veggie) burgers. And we shopped, and got manicures, and saw "Failure to Launch" which made us laugh a lot even though the five people behind us all thought they were in their living room and chatted during the *entire* movie, and shopped some more, and got hot chocolates and vanillas, and came home at 7:30 pretty darn worn out, especially Kidlet who is still pretty much recovering. It was definitely a girly day -- Kidlet loves that. And, heeee! One of the sales clerks said "Oh, you have such a *fun* mom!" *rolls eyes*
So, one post down, one to go! Where are all the memes when I need them??
