Orcs... snort

I feel like I have to be an orc today, flogging the 9-year-old through the unreasonable amount of homework she has to get through with a week and a half left of school. (That's figurative flogging, btw. It's still dreadful.) Damn teacher. Damn educational system. Damn obstinate 9-year-old. Damn fool of a mommy, bursting out laughing in the middle of scolding because it's all too ridiculous for words. And guess who got ice cream and some free play time? Even though a report and a damn project are due tomorrow. Damn fool of a mommy....
