shiredancerThey're here, the grad students. Needing lots of help, with lots of things. And I'm wearing shoes, real shoes, for maybe the first time in about four months, and they hurt. Ow.
And this just happened:
Supervisor, in doorway: I had a run-in with so-and-so yesterday; I found out she's been sneaking around and spending time on her personal e-mail.
Me (wide, innocent eyes): Oh, really? That's... too bad. (Surreptitiously minimizes the Yahoo window.)
Supervisor: Yes, can you believe that? How childish!
Me: Uh huh.
That, dear readers, is why you won't catch me even attempting AIM at work. Now I feel like I'd better be very careful indeed, and probably will only check my Yahoo and LJ on lunch break. For a while. Until that creepy feeling goes away, anyhow.
Eeep!
