Insomnia Post

Y'know, when I crash out at 9:30 and wake up again at 11:30, I'm pretty much done for as far as any sleep for the rest of the night. And I do have to be up by 7 to go to work. Aaarghhh.

There are things I want to post in my journal. Speculation about why my flaming liberal left-of-left side is at war with my pragmatic side over this immigrant issue. Thoughts on reconnecting, after twenty years, with my first love. Grouses about work. Joys over Kidlet. And recording some of my memories, which is a big part of why I keep my journal.

There's grist for the mill, all right. Just, the mill wheels aren't turning. *Frustrated*

What is the perfect exercise for someone who hates exercise?

What's the best way to care for sore pierced ears that can only tolerate my purest gold hoops right now? I miss my funky dangly ones!

That is all.

From what I recall, H2O2 isn't really recommended for wound care anymore (and I learned that doing wildlife rehab 15 years ago, so who knows what current thinking is) because it damages living cells. Most professional piercers recommend salt water rinses, I think. Not that I have piercings; even my ears closed up years ago, so. Take that with a grain of salt (which you can then dissolve in water and use to rinse your ears. :-D)

Maybe you can find dangly earrings with pure gold wires?

Glad to see you posting, even a little. *hugs*
