(no subject)

I finally plucked up my courage to get back on the Weight Watchers horse, after having fallen off in March (well, I was attacked by hordes of chocolate bunnies and Cadbury eggs during the Easter season... really, they were vicious!) -- so started back in on Saturday with my weekly weigh-in. Sheesh, you're gone for a few months and they change leaders on you! Anyway, turns out that I gained back about 2 1/2 lbs., which is less than I expected. *whew* Here's a cool little visual tracker thing:

We rented "Paparazzi" on Saturday night; that was a rather disturbing flick. And yet, possibly truer to life than I like to think. Talk about your moral ambiguity and situational ethics... Kidlet and I talked about it quite a bit, at least.

Father's Day was good; Peter and Kidlet got breakfast in bed, then the usual games with the family. It still amazes me, how tight my siblings and I are. We seem to just get tighter as we grow older, too. *Counts blessings*

Yay, Sally! Good for you for getting back on WW. Not like you look as if you need it... *waggles brows*

We'll expect to see pics of you in your new bikini very soon.

Thanks, Molly! LOL, my bikini days are *long* gone, honey -- no matter how thin I get.

The tracker thing is fun; I think if you click on it you'll get to the URL. You can design your own and post it each week. Just a little fluff!

Woohoo! Well done, my dear. Getting back in the saddle is harder than starting the first time, I think.

Thanks! Yes, I think you're right. The first time is full of excitement and hope and enthusiasm. Coming back around for the third time, and making it stick, is much more difficult.

Wow, I love that weight loss ticker thing. I need to get one of those.

LOL! If you click on it you'll go to the URL and there are dozens of combinations to choose (but you already knew that -- duh). Just what everybody needs, a weight loss ticker thingy!
