Heartbreak on the Bike Path!

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh... little dead bunny on the bike path! Wahhhh. Last week there was a snake trying to get across -- bikers were spreading the word to be careful, but when I passed him he seemed to be stuck. Kept darting his head forward but not actually going anywhere. I hope he made it.

What am I doing online? I have to allocate the entirety of next year's block grant money today! Okay, that will take all of one hour -- no need to panic. Filling out the Form 1 is easy-peasy. In fact, when you work in a major bureaucracy like the University of California, the standard forms and paperwork are the *easy* part of the job, once you set aside your resentment of the whole malarkey. It's the unique exceptions and problems that are difficult, but they keep the job varied and interesting. Loads of problem-solving skills going on here.

*Back to work*

ETA: There's apparently some kind of text on my new icon, but danged if my 52-year-old eyes can make it out even with a magnifying glass. Can anybody tell me what it says?
